About Me
I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. My research primarily focuses on how nonprofit advocacy groups use social media to inform, grow, and engage their audience. My dissertation also pays particular attention to patterns of use on Facebook and Twitter.
I have taught classes in a variety of formats to a variety of audiences. I have taught courses ranging in size from eight to 90. I have worked as a teaching assistant and instructor of record. My teaching experience includes both graduate and undergraduate courses that are in-person and online.
I have also worked as a volunteer and paid a consultant for a variety of political campaigns and nonprofits providing service and advice on advocacy in a digital space.
